New Wilmington Borough Community Park Master Plan
The master plan for New Wilmington Borough Community Park is the result of analysis of the existing park, active public participation, and in-depth discussion regarding the needs of New Wilmington Borough residents. The master plan provides a foundation to guide the decision-making process for the rehabilitation of the park. With this master plan New Wilmington Borough is able to respond in an orderly and financially fiscally responsible manner to requests from various organizations and individuals regarding recreation facilities within the park. Good planning reduces future conflicts, liability, and can reduce maintenance and operation costs.
Furthermore, this master plan can be used to apply for funding for future improvements in the park. New Wilmington Streetscape Project
The New Wilmington Borough Streetscape Plan is a comprehensive initiative to ‘redevelop’ a portion of the downtown area, to improve its physical appearance and make it much more esthetically appealing for residents, visitors and business owners. The time has come to fully commit to this program, provide the necessary resources, and keep the ball rolling to a successful completion.
This project is supported by the New Wilmington Economic Development Committee, New Wilmington Borough, Westminster College, New Wilmington Area Chamber of Commerce, local business owners and local citizens-at-large.
